DESCRIPTION

In Caveman Ninja you play a caveman armed with a throwing axe. Characters can jump and can throw the axe a short distance forward to hit enemies like those cave thugs from the rival tribe. You can also wind your arm up to throw a bigger and more damaging axe by holding down the throw button, but if you hold the button too long you'll get too tired to throw for a few seconds. There are a variety of special weapons that you can pick up to replace your throwing axe, like fireballs, boomerangs, and stone throwing knives. These weapons can also be charged up by pressing and holding the throw button for a short period of time.

Caveman Ninja provides a health bar with many blocks of health to work with. Being hit by a bad guy will remove some of the health bar, with the exact number of blocks depending on the nature of the hit. Most cave thugs however will drop various types of food when killed; these can be picked up and eaten to heal part of your health bar. If you lose all your health you die and will have to start at a midway point within the level. Losing all of your health while on your last life ends the game. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
