Cate West: The Vanishing Files deals with a series of unexplainable cases that have police baffled, and as a last resort, the detectives call in a noted novelist and visionary for help. As Cate West, a woman with the innate ability to psychically tie items to their owners, players can look for hidden clues, glean evidence, and track down suspects. The game features 15 different levels, and each level breaks down into five different subcategories that let gamers test their skills in a variety of traditional puzzles, such as finding hidden objects or identifying the differences between two pictures. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
