DESCRIPTION

Cat Trax is a cute, nicely animated, highly enjoyable game that borrows heavily from Mouse Trap (which, of course, borrowed heavily from Pac-Man). Players guide a cat around a maze, gobbling catnip dots while avoiding three dogs. Eating a fish that appears randomly in the center of the maze temporarily changes the cat into a dog catching truck, which can chase after the dogs and send them back to their doghouse. Apples can be eaten for extra points, and there are gates to open and close. If the cat gets into a bind, it can warp to a randomly chosen area of the screen. Compared to the many weak clones of popular arcade games cluttering the Arcadia 2001 library, Cat Trax is without a doubt the pick of the litter. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
