DESCRIPTION
Gamers join a group of vampire hunters and once again track down the evil forces of Dracula in this third DS installment of Konami's long-running Castlevania series. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia features a new "Glyph" attack system that allows players to simultaneously use multiple abilities and attacks when battling evil though 20 levels of side-scrolling action. The game also features a number of side quests and outdoor areas, and a number of different ending reward gamers for playing though more than once. Players using a Wi-Fi connection can compete head-to-head with a friend, sell and buy any items they have collected, and connect to the Wii game Castlevania: Judgment for special unlockable items. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“The third and final (rumoured final that is) installment on the DS. Everything is better in this game, character design and animations, move sets, a new glyph system and no actual weaponry just magic that forms to whatever weapon you desire to have at the time. Something satisfying about sucking a demons soul right out of them and using it against them 2 seconds later that satisfied me.
The new character was attractive and she was the first time a Castlevania revolved around a woman. The story is a tale of nothing but betrayal from all sides and one new feature that I can't believe they never thought of before was the ability to travel all around the land, not just Dracula's castle. Great idea, and pulled it off perfectly.
This game is the best Castlevania on the platform, my only complaint was a lack of good music, but when it was good, it was really good.”

“Ecclesia was an *excellent* Castlevania (not that they're not all good). It was nice to see one without the Belmont's of the Vampire Killer, something in the interim of the series. Deep, intense action and a steep difficulty make this a gem.”

“Finally beat it. another one down, now working on Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade. Handheld games are the order of the month... specifically, ones that I've been playing for way too long.”

“We're gettin' there. Game says about 50% done, which means that I'm probably closer to 60%, and have missed secrets galore. Ahh, Castlevania.”

Sorry I haven't had a chance to look at this. Two months ago... what was I doing then... it was April, right?
Oh, I do not think I had set up my computer until May. At which point, I was hooking up with my girl, who apparently has been in prison since March (I wondered what happened to her). May I also ended up getting into a cat fight with a high profile transsexual in Edmonton (it is best left not explored further). I also spent a fair amount of my time, breaking down doors, kicking ass, and taking names. People offered me bubble gum, to try to step the tide of my massive ass kickery.
June I have had to deal with my underwear disintegrating, coming to terms with my eating disorder, a slight diversion with a woman in her early fourties who is the typical Valium stereotype. Breaking up a help group in Vancouver and being banned from the Three Bridges Health Clinic (not quite... just one of the meetings). I also reduced somebody to tears within a few minutes of telling a normal section of my life story. Oh, and I am starting to get pissed off with the fact when it rains, blizzards, what have you, I tend to pass out.
June I also found out I was sexually attracted to scene girls, ravers and large breasts. I kind of wanted to pretend this was not the case, but meh. I apparently also look stunning in a bikini as I found out during an emergency swimsuit purchase.
I also found that a data backup mechanism I created during a time my computers were either exploding, or being smashed worked phenominally well, having backed up quite a bit, even if it was forged during a time that it was created, did not allow much time for functionality to be figured out.
So yeah--I really had no reason to excuse my absence from this thread. Sorry I haven't been here to post. I will try to be more sensitive in the future.”
