DESCRIPTION
Designed exclusively for Wii, Castlevania Judgment is a 3D fighting game spin-off of Konami's gothic horror hack-and-slash series. Players wield the motion-sensing Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to perform lashes, slashes, and stabs with their onscreen counterparts. Battles play out across relatively large, castle-age settings, stocked with interactive objects that can be destroyed or thrown as weapons against the enemy. The zombies, golems, and other mindless minions and monsters that wander through battle stages can pose a both threat and opportunity, as fighters may defeat them for an energy boost. Certain characters can make use of special traps in certain stages. Plucking heroes and villains from the 22-year-old series' centuries-spanning timeline, the game's playable characters include Simon Belmont, Trevor Belmont, Alucard, Sypha Belnades, Grant DaNasty, Maria Renard, and Shanoa, as well as Carmilla, Death, and the evil Lord Dracula himself. The look of the characters was created for the game by award-winning manga artist Takeshi Obata (Hikaru no Go, Death Note). ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

“A bad game in all regards of every genre it is trying to be... I gave it two stars though because it was very nice to see all these characters I knew so well in a different and detailed way. After using all the special moves with all the characters and unlocking Shanoa I never cared to ever play this game again. Don't bother with this title unless you are a HARDCORE Castlevania fan and they can do nothing wrong.”

“My siblings nearly completed the game, and I´m getting better with the controls... But somehow I´m still not really enjoying it.”

“I should have taken the warnings about the difficulties with the controls more seriously. it ruins EVERYTHING. I´m glad it did "only" cost 25 euros.”

“The poor rating this game got is proof that most professional critics don't actually spend much time with the games they are reviewing.. While the game isn't perfect, it's actually quite fun and aesthetically pleasing. You just have to unlock stuff..”
