DESCRIPTION

An easier, more leisurely paced game than such similar titles as Jumpman and Miner 2049er, Canyon Climber consists of three screens, each of which involves climbing from the bottom to the top of the Grand Canyon. Objectives include blowing up bridges, jumping over goats, jumping over (or blocking with your shield) Indian arrows, and leaping across one mesa to the next while dodging bricks being dropped by eagles. When you reach the top in level three, a goat will kick you off your perch, keeping the game going (level one begins anew) in surprisingly rude fashion. Despite the kick in the butt, this is a fun game with decent graphics and pleasant challenges. Good timing is required, but the action rarely gets frustrating. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
