DESCRIPTION

Calipso is a 2D action game. As a deep sea diver, you're armed with a gun and a limited supply of oxygen. You can shoot the undersea critters to keep them away from you, but you can't shoot and swim at the same time. When you shoot you cannot move, but you can aim in all directions while stationary. If one of the undersea critters manages to touch your swimmer, you lose a life and have to restart the level, but all the fish you killed will stay dead. You will also perish if your timer runs out. Each level has two sets of caves opposite each other along the edges. When you enter a cave on one side of the screen, you can swim out the cave on the other side. The fish can't follow you through the caves, so you can use them to get away. The goal of each level is to dive to the bottom and retrieve the treasure before the timer runs out. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
