DESCRIPTION

Burning Rubber is a shareware Macintosh game available at the usual download sites. Set up in an overhead view, the player must maneuver a car through a series of roads in an attempt to reach the end of each one while trying to avoid obstacles such as other cars, people, trees, and even tanks firing shells. Beware of being caught by the cops, who pursue you by car and helicopter. If they catch up, you'll have to pay a fine in points before you can continue.

You'll find yourself racing through the mountains, jumping bridges near the ocean, eluding tanks at a military base, and slipsliding across icy roads. The action moves at a fast pace, so strap in and prepare to burn some rubber. ~ Brad Cook, All Game Guide
