DESCRIPTION
You are Chef Peter Pepper, owner of The Pepper Grille, everyone's favorite place to grab a burger. Along with owning this greasy spoon, your job is to build hamburgers (and cheeseburgers). The individual parts of the burgers, which are enormous, are lined up in vertical rows and are laid out on several levels of platforms. You must climb from level to level and walk over the length of the meat patties, buns and garnish in order to drop them down to the bottom of the play field.
Eventually, after you walk over each hamburger part enough times, moving them down level by level, you will form several complete hamburgers on plates that are located at the bottom of the screen. Each time you complete an entire order of burgers, you move on to the next, more difficult scene. There are six different scenes in all. After that, the levels begin repeating themselves.
While you are walking, climbing and stacking the burger parts, Mr. Egg, Mr. Hot Dog and Mr. Pickle will try to halt your progress. To rid yourself of these animated culinary nuisances, you can drop burger parts on them or walk over a burger part while one (or more) of the creatures are on top of it. Also, you can temporarily freeze them with a dash of pepper. To get bonus points and extra pepper, you can help yourself to ice cream, coffee and french fries, each of which appears on the playfield from time to time. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
