DESCRIPTION
A venerable cartoon rabbit comes to the PC for some 3D fun in Bugs Bunny Lost in Time. As Bugs himself, your goal is to make it through 21 levels of hare-raising action while avoiding long-time Looney Tunes adversaries such as Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam and Marvin the Martian.
Bugs begins his adventures in the Era Selector. Before he can embark on his journey, he must get some training in the only area he has access to, Nowhere. Merlin Munroe, who acts as his mentor throughout the game, gives him some tips on how to solve the challenges which will be presented in the first adventure. If Bugs is successful in his task, he returns to Merlin, who rewards him with a clock so that he can travel to his next era.
There are five eras in all. In The Stone Age, Bugs meets up with dinosaurs and a caveman who looks a lot like Elmer Fudd. In Medieval Times, he encounters knights and Witch Hazel, who would like to make him into a stew. Next is The Pirate Years, complete with plenty of pirate action featuring Yosemite Sam. Fourth is The 1930s, where Bugs meets up with the gangsters Rocky and Mugsy. Finally, Dimension X features the space station belonging to Marvin the Martian.
The final goal in the game is to get back to the present. Along the way Bugs can pick up carrots which restore lost energy (displayed with the carrot bar), clocks which allow access to new eras as well as side missions within each era, and red Acme boxes, all of which must be broken in each level for an extra clock.
Just in case Bugs needs some help dispatching the bad guys, he can also pick up a few useful items to get rid of them. Mallets and timed explosives come in handy, as can torches for lighting certain objects and stackable boxes which can be used as steps. Merlin has also given that rascally rabbit some special spells which can be activated if Bugs stands over a certain symbol and the player presses "action."
Every time Bugs reaches a checkpoint the player can save the game. ~ Brad Cook, All Game Guide
