DESCRIPTION

This conversion of the Sega coin-op takes you into the greatest battle of the 25th century as you step into the shoes of the interplanetary hero Buck Rogers. You have three fighterships at your disposal. Your mission is to fight through enemy lines to confront and destroy the powerful alien mother ships.

The game is played using a view from above and behind your fightership. As the flat terrain of the Planet Zoom scrolls below you, you must maneuver left and right around Electron Post obstacles. Meanwhile, waves of Alien Saucers appear and Space Hoppers begin moving across the planet surface and firing at your ship.

There are five levels of increasing difficulty. Each level consists of four rounds. In the first three rounds of each level you are confronted by Saucers, Hoppers and Electron Posts. In the fourth round, you face an alien mother ship and its fleet of saucers. ~ Joseph Scoleri III, All Game Guide
