This release from Auran starts off like a 3D graphics tech demo, but soon builds into an engagingly unusual puzzle game. Built on the "Auran Jet" engine and optimized for play with an NVidia GeForce FX graphics card, Bridge It presents gamers with a variety of natural, outdoor environments, each with a chasm, river, or other sort of gap which must be bridged. A simple, mouse-driven interface allows players to build bridges in real-time, with a variety of virtual materials. Once the structure is up, it's put to the test — by loaded freight trains, car and truck traffic, and other heavy stress. If the bridge stands up to the challenge, players are rewarded, for both the strength and efficiency of their designs.
