DESCRIPTION

Designed by Tetris mastermind Alexey Pajitnov, BreakThru! has players trying to clear a wall of blocks before time runs out. To eliminate blocks, players must click on groups of two or more blocks of the same color. The removal of blocks causes other blocks to fall and slide into position and new blocks and special items (such as block-busting sticks of dynamite) to appear from above. As with most puzzle games of this type, the graphics and sound effects are less than dazzling, but the action has that special Pajitnov mix of simplicity and strategy that makes for a compelling, addictive experience. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
