DESCRIPTION

Billed as a first-person fighting game, Namco's Breakdown chronicles the story of a young man freed from a mysterious organization looking to brainwash him into submission. Inspired by the film "The Matrix," the protagonist is rescued from the covert agency by an athletic woman who can run across walls and will periodically join fights by using her skills in both martial arts and weaponry. Players can not only smash soldiers, government agents, and supernatural enemies using their fists, but call upon a special energy that imbues the character's arms with powerful concentrations of light. Breakdown was officially unveiled at Japan's 2003 Tokyo Game Show as an Xbox exclusive. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
