Activision's Boxing presents a top-down view of two pugilists (one black, one white) as they compete in a two-minute bout. The winner is the fighter with the most points at the end of the round. One point is given for each long jab your boxer lands, while two points are earned for close power punches. Movement around the ring is accomplished by manipulating the joystick, and you can throw automatic combinations by keeping the button pressed. Back your opponent into the ropes to quickly earn points. Want to go for the knockout? The first player to reach 100 points will have his or her opponent kissing the canvas!
Players can set the handicap for each boxer (computer or human) by flipping difficulty switches, with the "A" setting slowing down the speed of the punches. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
