Twisting the usual adventure game, your character isn't exactly on the right side of morality. As a vampire, you wander the world of Nosgoth to save it, but, at the same time, you must feed on the blood of the hapless and innocent to keep your strength up. Combat, similar to Zelda-style of fighting, is real time with a top-down view, and the ability to zoom in and out of the screen should you want more detail. A wide variety of weaponry, magic, and items aids you in your quest, along with the ability to morph into bat, wolf, or mist to get through certain situations. The number of combat scenarios, traps, and puzzles are the kind adventurers have come to expect from these types of games. Also embedded in the game is over twenty-five minutes of full motion video to keep the story lively. Be advised: This game is definitely not for children.
