DESCRIPTION
Based on the cartoon series of the early 1990s, this SNES-only release pits extraterrestrial rodent heroes Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo against rivals such as Karbunkle or Limburger in destructive racing competitions around a selection of 30 different tracks. The race courses are viewed from an isometric perspective to give the 2D game a sense of three dimensions. Each racer has a different weapon and different vehicle statistics. Vehicles can be upgraded as the player wins competitions.
Konami's Biker Mice From Mars features four modes of play. The "Versus" and "Time Trial" modes feature straightforward, first-to-the-finish contests and the "Main Race" mode features a series of races. For a change of pace, the object of the game's "Battle Mode" is to be the last mouse (or Plutarkian) moving, doing as much damage as possible to take out competing vehicles while zipping around the track. ~ T.J. “For a combat racing game on Super NES this game RAWKED! I actually think my siblings and I liked it more then Mario Kart! There were just tons of awesome race tracks, and everyone had their character themed weapons to use.”
