DESCRIPTION
In Beany Bopper, you are an eyeball-shaped object called the Bopper. Your goal is to capture Beanies and a number of other crazy objects in order to score points. Pay special attention to the Beanies, though, because unless you shoot them first with your stun gun before grabbing them, they will disintegrate your Bopper. You can fire one shot at a time, or hold the button down for short-range rapid fire. Beanies (propeller hats with frowny faces) ricochet around the screen until hit, at which time they will slowly progress to the bottom of the screen unless captured by your Bopper. Every time a Beanie is captured, a falling object will drop from the top of the screen.
Capture falling bombs, airplanes, paratroopers, bouncing oranges, and other odd objects for bonus points. Unlike Beanies, these objects do not have to be shot first in order to be captured; however, if you do shoot an object you will slow its rate of descent, making it easier to grab. If you allow an object to fall to the bottom of the screen, another Beanie will appear. You start the game with four Boppers, and every time you capture four Beanies you gain another Bopper. You can have a maximum of four Boppers at one time. There are two game options in Beany Bopper: In game one, the Beanies ricochet off obstacles; in game two, they pass right through obstacles. ~ Michael Schwartz/Joan Dykman, All Game Guide
