DESCRIPTION

You are Batman in Batman Returns, a side-scrolling action game based on the Tim Burton movie of the same name. Using an assortment of fighting moves and an armory of gadgets, such as a Batarang, grappling hook, and other projectile weapons, you must follow the storyline of the movie and save Gotham City by stopping Penguin, Catwoman, and the Red Triangle Circus Gang. The seven stages of battles will take you to the city rooftops, the circus train, Gotham Plaza, the streets of Gotham, and the Penguin's lair, where you must fight the Penguin and his tiny, missile-launching penguins. Unlike the other six levels, in which you control Batman as he runs, jumps, and fights, stage five puts you in the driver's seat of the Batmobile. ~ Glenn Wigmore, All Game Guide
