DESCRIPTION

Batman is based on the movie released in 1989 that starred Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. The movie tells the story of how the Joker came to be but does not follow the storyline of the comic books. Unlike the comic book, the Joker is killed at the end of the movie and has, of course, the same fate in the game.

There are five levels: Axis Chemical Factory, The Streets of Gotham City, The Batcave, The Gotham City Carnival, and The Gotham Cathedral. Levels 1 and 5 are punch and kick action levels. Level 2 puts you in control of the Batmobile, Batman's specially equipped crime fighting car. In level 3 you use the Batcave's computer to do some detective work while trying to learn how Joker kills people and leaves them smiling. At the carnival in level 4 you will be flying the Batwing, the jet shaped like a bat. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
