DESCRIPTION
Take to the streets for some old-fashioned two-on-two hoops action in this sequel to 1994's Barkley: Shut Up and Jam! The game is played from a horizontal perspective as you and a teammate (computer or human) try to outscore the competition using any means necessary. Want to throw a stiff elbow to knock players onto the asphalt? Go right ahead — there aren't any refs to keep you honest! The only violation that might be called is goal-tending, so get ready to pound the pavement without the fear of fouling out.
Choose from ten "streetwise" players, not including Sir Charles himself, as you play in either an exhibition game or tournament. Since this is basketball on the street, you'll compete in eight different urban environments featuring graffiti, rubble, and even a moving train. Over 2,000 player animations have been included to show moves such as behind-the-back passes, double-clutches, alley-oops, and 25 different dunks. Battery backup allows you to save tournament progress, as well as individual records such as triple doubles, total wins, and total losses. In addition, digitized voice samples of Charles Barkley offer either words of encouragement or ridicule while you play. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
