Baldur's Gate II: The Collection features the full versions of both Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and its first expansion pack, Throne of Bhaal. The package also contains a bonus CD filled with additional weapons and armor, four new character portraits for greater customization, and selected songs from the original soundtrack. The bonus CD was originally included in the limited release of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn — Collector's Edition. For those unfamiliar with the award-winning titles, Baldur's Gate II is a continuation of BioWare's Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role-playing series and features hundreds of monsters, sub-quests, thousands of non-player characters, and over 300 spells. Up to six players can compete in real-time adventuring from an isometric perspective, with the ability to pause combat at any time to coordinate attacks or to implement certain strategies. The expansion pack allows characters to grow in experience to the 40th level and introduces an original storyline, the Wild Mage character kit, and an assortment of magical items, enchantments, and deadly monsters. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
