The sequel to one of the industry's most successful computer role-playing games comes to the Macintosh with this release of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. As in the original Baldur's Gate adventure, players control a party of up to six characters who travel through huge areas and take part in cleverly scripted adventures based on the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons gaming system. The title features an isometric view of 3D characters in exquisite, hand-designed backgrounds as they explore the fantasy world and interact with its inhabitants. The otherwise real-time action is easily paused at any point to allow the player time to consider strategies or issue complex orders to the party members.
