Bad Dudes was a timely hit in the Arcades that featured martial arts experts Blade and Striker who were so bad, anyone who got in their way will know next time not to mess with the best. And yet they kept coming anyway, because the evil Dragon Ninja isn't afraid. His henchmen kidnapped the President and won't let him go until the ninja's demands are met. It's up to you to foil this dastardly act and free the President before it's too late.
The Commodore 64's version of Bad Dudes brings home all the action of Data East's number one smash Arcade hit. Wave after wave of relentless ninjas, vicious dogs, super warriors, and monsters will try to put an end to your rescue mission.
The game takes place in several stages such as the city, sewer, forest, cave, and even on a moving freight train! Points are scored when enemies are defeated, yet points vary, depending on weapon types such as numchucks, knives, and spikes. Pay attention to your hit and life indicators, as you'll need to determine when you must pick up extra time or energy drinks. Make way to a helicopter holding the President and finally eliminate the Dragon Ninja himself.
With voice, music, and sound effects galore, fighting fans will recall the days when Bad Dudes was a major coin-cruncher. The higher the level, the harder it gets, and even more so when you have a buddy fighting cooperatively with you. Tough action requires brute as well as brain. Are you bad enough? ~ Cal Nguyen, All Game Guide
