DESCRIPTION

Kid versions of famous Major League Baseball pros join the neighborhood gang for another season of the national pastime in Backyard Baseball '10. As in earlier editions in Humongous Entertainment's long-running sports series, the game follows the real-life rules of baseball, but offers options for power-ups and other extracurricular abilities, and features adjustable difficulty settings for players of a range of skills and ages. The game's control scheme has been refined from the previous year's editions, and new fields, lighting options, and play-by-play commentary update the game's presentation. The roster includes kid-version players from every MLB team (including the annual edition's cover athlete, David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox) alongside regular kid characters of all shapes and sizes. Backyard Baseball '10 also features "Hall of Fame" kids teams from previous season's editions of the game. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
