DESCRIPTION

The kids from Backyard Baseball 2007 are back for another season on the GameCube console. Designed to replicate the casual backyard or sandlot "pick up" games played by kids of all ages, Backyard Baseball 2007 features controllable elements of pitching, batting, fielding, and running, and the ability to adjust difficulty levels between two teams. Players can choose to play a full season complete with statistic tracking and team standings, a "Home Run Derby" mini-game, a "Fielder's Challenge" mini-game, a "quick play" game, or head-to-head games for to two players.

Backyard Baseball 2007 features all 30 MLB teams and logos, as well as a dugout full of major league players depicted as kids and ten pre-set backyard teams. Character appearance can be totally customized, and players may dress the pint-size all-stars in any uniform they wish. The logos, fields, and uniforms themselves may also be altered for a completely customized team. Included as kid versions are such luminaries as Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, David Oritz, and Bobby Abreu among others. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide
