DESCRIPTION

Take on a friend or the computer in this adaptation of the classic board game for the Atari 2600. Requiring both strategy and luck, the object of Backgammon is to move your pieces around the game board and bear them off the board before your opponent has a chance to do the same. Dice are used to control movement.

Backgammon is a game with quite a few rules, so a new player will need to study up before jumping in. Luckily, the instruction manual contains directions on how to play. Advanced players can use all of their normal strategies to win in this video game version.
