DESCRIPTION

As suggested in the subtitle, this edition of the long-running fighting robot series is marked by the return of the uber-powerful Nine Ball 'mech, which debuted in the original PlayStation's first Armored Core game. Players of this PS2 edition are encouraged to prove themselves true "Nine Breakers," by battling their way through the competition and eventually defeating this powerful opponent. Combat can be fast and fierce, as in a more traditional 3D fighting game, but strategic considerations play an important role as gamers custom-develop their 'mechs from a selection of powerful, interchangeable parts. ~ T.J.
