DESCRIPTION

Based on the cinematic follow-up to 2005's March of the Penguins, Arctic Tale follows the stories of a polar bear cub and a walrus calf as they struggle to survive the harsh climate and treacherous terrain. Each animal is individually rated in four distinct attributes: speed, stamina, strength, and hunger. Players must use these abilities to hunt for food and to fend off predators while crossing mountains, sheets of ice, oceans, and other potentially perilous regions. The game design combines free-roaming exploration stages with traveling sequences and arcade-style mini-games. Facts and figures from National Geographic will also appear at various points in the journey, educating young audiences on life within the Arctic Circle. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
