DESCRIPTION

Namco's Aqua Jet features a very large screen, in front of which the player stands in an actual jet ski while controling the onscreen watercraft. The jet ski features an accelerator and the ability of the player to lean on it in order to maneuver through the course. There are novice and expert courses, and in each one the player races against eleven other jet skiers. Each lap has checkpoints which must be reached in a certain amount of time or the game is over, and at the end of the course the player must jump as far as possible on each of three sequential ramps. This game also features a button which can be used to change the player's view on the action, from a first person perspective to a more detached look at the race.
