DESCRIPTION
Capcom's anime-style legal series files a motion for continuance without Phoenix Wright in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. Apollo Justice is the new lawyer in town, picking up where Wright left off in a storyline taking place seven years after the events chronicled in 2007's Trials and Tribulations. While the three games in the Phoenix Wright series were originally designed for Game Boy Advance, Apollo Justice is the first title specifically developed for Nintendo DS.
Players will use the stylus to examine crime scenes, interview witnesses, and present evidence at trial. Microphone support is included for yelling such phrases as "objection" and "hold it." During an investigation, players will dust for fingerprints, create plaster molds, spray luminol to reveal hidden blood spatter, and more. In the courtroom, Justice can read non-verbal cues to determine if a witness is lying. A total of four cases are available to solve, each involving a mysterious murder. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“Done and done. That last case was a doozy, but it was a great wrap-up. I love all the details that they've been throwing into these games, and how it all wraps up neatly at the end for a perfect...”

“Got a little further into the flashback on my new DS. My old one had a broken hinge, and when I took it down to Nintendo to get it repaired, they just replaced it and gave me a new one. YAY!”

“Ooh, a flashback. I'm diggin' it. I'm also digging the retro vibe that they gave it, recycling sprites and music from the original trilogy. It feels a bit like cheating, but I like it.”

“Investigating-ness. I like the idea of doing this case differently, with the Judicial system, but I wonder how that's going to impact the court proceedings. Only one way to find out...”

“Well, done Case #3. Onto the final case... or at least, that's what the game says. "The final chapter". And while I don't really want it to end, I'm looking forward to seeing some of...”

“Well, after being abused by FF3, decided to tackle a couple of the other games on the DS that have been lacking love. I'm feeling a lot more... cognizant of this game now. I'm getting more stuff...”

“Finished the first case. Just barely touched the second one.”

“I've played the ace attorney series over and over and over again, and always enjoy the fine detail they put into the games. I really love Apollo Justice though, the whole first chapter on the poker...”

“I love this series, but I love this one best of all. It has video introductions, a very deep level of mystery, and proof that everything truly is connected, even with the introduction of a new character.
Although I loved Pheonix, I love Apollo too, I also love that he looks crisper and more colourful. I love how the courtroom got a much needed make-over, and I love how the characters have a lot more animation to them overall. I realize that Pheonix Wright was a GBA remake ported to DS but I still think they could of made it look nicer like this title.
By the end of this game I felt really good about myself, but in comparison to the other titles, it wasn't as difficult sadly. I love being able to find when a character is lying too... Made me feel smart, and searching evidence from every angle was a welcome touch (even if I saw it before in the final secret case of Pheonix Wright 1 on DS)”

“Glad to see that the amazing writing is still intact. Not 100% sure how much I like the "rotate evidence" thing. Just one more thing to get caught up in. I'm glad for the return of the...”

“Huh... what a weird way to start the game. I wonder if it all ties up at the end. It just seems a little... sudden.”

“Wow, what's happened in the time between the games? More mysteries... but I must say, Apollo is a good-lookin' attorney. Really, the whole game looks great, now that it's been designed and built...”

“Not really much to say, except "I WIN!", I guess. Gonna bide my time with other games as I wait for Ace Attorney Investigations to come out.”

“The craziest hair yet and Phoenix is a hobo! Don't miss the terribly clichè plot twist!”
