Sony Computer Entertainment's infamous escaped apes get schooled in their PlayStation Portable debut. This collection of more than 40 mini-games is designed as the handheld's first party game, and up to four PSP gamers with a copy of the UMD can compete together wirelessly.

As fans know, the siren-helmeted simians have been entertaining gamers since they first escaped on the PlayStation in 1999, but why "Academy?" As the story goes, the series' recurring villain, Specter, is tired of having his plans for world domination continually fouled up by the chronic foolishness of his monkey minions, and so he has founded a university to train his apes to be more obedient (or at least less incompetent).

Players progress in the game's main competition through a tic-tac-toe styled interface, in which they must win the mini-game to claim the square. Single players can revisit any of the mini-games they've beaten, as well for helpful practice or high-score pride. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
