“Older gamers think AO is dull. There's not much to do besides grind. Even the crafting mostly involves parking your character somewhere to gather materials over time, parking him somewhere else to gather more materials over time, then parking him at a crafting station to mass produce your goods over time.

This game is much more attractive to younger gamers, who are fascinated by the open class/skill system, interesting monsters, and one of the prettier chibi-style games out there today. The game is easy to learn and to play, even for very young gamers. These guys also really know how to decorate for a holliday event.”

“Dunno myself. Used to play it but dropped it like a hot rock when they decided that firefox was a web browser they didn't feel like supporting.

That's more a Meta-issue than an in-game issue.”

“You do need a browser when the game decides that your loggin information is wrong..

eventhough that same loggin information was working fine the day before.

That's why I quit. I was just fine playing the game and never going to the site, but when I lost access to my account and tried to get into it through the website (and it wouldn't let me cause I pretty much use firefox exclusively) I just felt like it wasn't worth the effort.”
