You wake up naked and alone in a hotel room. How did you get here? Who are you? You can't remember anything. What will you do? Do you have a job? How will you deal with the people who seem to recognize you in Amnesia, a text adventure set in contemporary New York City. Discover your identity while overcoming the unexpected obstacles arising from people who recognize you. Your performance in the game is rated in three separate categories combined into one overall score, with scores as a detective, character, and survivor reflecting the different skills the game demands from you. In addition to inventory, the game system tracks time, energy level, money, and the total weight of objects you carry. While solving the game's storyline puzzles, you also have to address the problem of finding food and shelter.
