aMaze is a puzzle game that requires fast reflexes, as well as the maze-solving prowess indicated in the title. Most folks have played with marble box-mazes - shallow boxes topped with a wooden board that pivots on two axes. The pivoting top usually has a maze built into it and usually has a few holes too, drilled at strategic locations. The object of these games is to put a marble in the top and navigate its way through the maze by tilting the board while avoiding the holes. aMaze offers gamers with a NUON-equipped DVD player a virtual version of this classic exercise. Playing with a computer-generated marble box maze allows for a variety of textures, zoom perspectives, and other entertaining graphical enhancements not available in a real, physical version of the puzzle game. It also saves the user from the hassle of getting the marble out of the box when it accidentally falls into a hole. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
