DESCRIPTION

Stepping into the shoes of Edward Carnby, detective of the macabre and a hero of the first game in the series, you must save a kidnapped child from the clutches of the undead pirate, One Eyed Jack. New puzzles, weapons, traps, and enemies await Carnby in an adventure that, unfortunately, lacks the spookiness and mystery of the original. It is much longer and more involved, and while players can expect the same 3rd person, action/adventure style of play, they can't imagine the twists and turns this story will take. Secret passageways, mazes, and trap doors await exploration as thugs, undead pirates, and worse, loom in the shadows of this deepening mystery. Despite overwhelming odds Carnby must keep evil at bay, once again to stop One Eyed Jack or forfeit the child's life. Originally this title was released for the PC, but the 3DO port features enhanced 3D graphics and camera angles. ~ Scott Steinberg, All Game Guide
