DESCRIPTION

Air Duel is a 2D overhead-view, vertical scrolling shooter. Up to two gamers can play at the same time. choosing whether to pilot a plane or helicopter at the start of the game. The plane is easier to use because it shoots straight, but it has a slightly bigger profile and starts out with a weaker weapon. The helicopter rotates as you move, turning in the direction you're moving. This makes aiming more difficult, but the helicopter is equipped with a more powerful initial weapon to compensate for that. Each time you continue the game with a new credit you can choose to keep your current vehicle or switch to the other. Moreover, you'll have to deal with ground and air enemies throughout the levels, as well as defeat a boss enemy at the end of each level. Occasionally, specially colored enemy units mix with groups of regular enemies. Shooting the specially colored enemies produces primary weapon or bomb power-up icons that increase your shot power when collected. There are no shields or health bars in Air Duel, so any contact with enemy units or shots means instant death.
