Following a well-received break to the realms of ancient mythology, Ensemble Studios returns its real-time strategy sensibilities to the real world with this third edition of the historically themed Age of Empires series. After conquering the Continent in earlier editions and expansion packs, the series stakes claim to the New World in Age of Empires III. Players choose to guide one of eight Old World powers, and manage their empire from a European home city, but all of the base-building, battle, and conquest take place across the sprawling untamed wilderness of the Americas. Each home county is offers different advantages, such as Britain's economic strength, France's propensity for allegiance with Native American civilizations, or Spain's formidable colonial presence.

Have been losing a lot of multiplayer games. :)
As with the second, i had no time for the singleplayer campaign but played it purely online.
I didn't really like the new style, since it didn't mesh with the other two, but it was well put together. I enjoyed it, but felt sad that it wasn't "the same game".
Yet another RTS in my collection. Still play this one once in a while.
Not as good as the first two, let me down.
The graphics are too bugged, and hard on my computer right now, it seems to have potential, but my computer is too weak to play it, so atleast for the next year or two until I can get a better computer I'm gonna go thumbs down for this one

I loved the first two games in the series and played the demo for this one. Great game. I'm waiting for a "battle chest" style package, so I can get a couple of the expansion packs along with the main
Juicing up the computer so I can play it again, but I loved making people fly when the got hit with cannonballs!
Not a passion, but it was pretty nice while it lasted.

Fun strategy game.
Compared to AoE I/II it isn't that good, the new card features and so is just a try to spice it up, the missions aren't as good as they are more scripted and so..but its ok. Better then most, still.
