DESCRIPTION

Lolo is a blue blob whose girlfriend, Princess Lala, has been whisked away to the Haunted Castle by the Great Devil. Armed with the ability to push around green boxes, and magic that can turn certain monsters into eggs, Lolo must navigate 50 palace rooms to face the Devil. Each level is an 11 by 11 grid in which Lolo must acquire all the heart pieces and grab a special gem that allows him to move on to the next room. Enemies block important passageways, chase Lolo, and even kill him on sight. Each stage is well thought out and the difficulty of each level ranges from very easy to frustratingly difficult. The graphics and sounds fall short of dazzling, and the background music consists of hopelessly repetitive bubblegum sweet melodies. The levels also take on a degree of similarity as the game progresses, especially since the types of obstacles Lolo encounters are limited. ~ Zachary Knowlton, All Game Guide
