DESCRIPTION

The evil Witch Doctor has swiped Princess Leilani from Master Higgins' side, taking her to the South Pacific island known as Adventure Island. Although clearly inspired by Super Mario Bros., the game makes several changes to the standard formula that make it worth checking out. There are a number of eggs hidden around each level, in which you will find axes, boomerangs, fireballs, milk, fairies and other surprises. Axes, boomerangs and fireballs are used to destroy foes. Skateboards act as a shield and allow you to hop over enemies, and fairies endow you with temporary invincibility. Grabbing the milk and fruit scattered about refills your energy meter, while the eggplants and evil fairies lurking inside eggs will drastically lower it. ~ Geoffrey Douglas Smith, All Game Guide
