“This collection includes 5 RPG adventure games.
Dead Reefs: I'm not sure I like the way this game is operated (by keyboard only :P). There also seem to be many obstacles, such as stairs, which makes it even harder to move around effectively. Also, I seem to have gotten stuck early on and am not sure what to do next.
I do, however, wish I could complete this game because the story seems intriguing. Or maybe it's the fact that I love the pirate theme. Or possibly a bit of both.
Keepsake: This is an intriguing fantasy with tons of puzzles scattered throughout the game. They are well integrated with the scene and stotryline, which allows you to feel like you're taking part in the story rather than just solving a puzzle to reach the next "level". I admit, I skipped through many of those, as puzzles aren't my favorite thing in the world (yep...there is an option to "solve" every puzzle in case you can't figure it out or are too impatient to solve it). The storyline itself is engaging and Dragonvale Academy is full ofenough secrets to keep you exploring for hours.
Mysterious Island: The best thing to do when you start this game is to explore a bit and see what you can figure out. Your character does need food to move further, which you can find in several locations (some require tools to make use of). As for tools, you can make them by combining "found" objects. I haven't gotten far in this game yet, but it seems good.
Nibiru: I can only get so far in this game, then I get stuck. Other than that, the story is interesting and there is some humor to it, as well. It probably would be better if I could get myself "unstuck" somehow.
Tunguska: The storyline kept me engaged enough to complete the game, though it took more than one sitting ;). There are some puzzles you have to figure out, most involving the combination of items in your inventory. Some solutions are more obvious than others.
Conclusion: I gave the collection 3 stars as a whole, because I really enjoyed the 2 of the 5 games I completed. The others are...passable, or I assume they would be under different circumstances. The whole collection only cost me $5 anyway, so it's not a big deal.”
