DESCRIPTION
You must search for the two halves of the ancient Crown of Kings in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, a game based on TSR's groundbreaking role-playing games. Play on one of four difficulty levels during your adventure in the caverns of Cloudy Mountain as you try reaching the legendary Cloudy Mountain by first obtaining items in other mountains that will help you gain access. Obstacles include: crossing rivers; clearing forests; opening walls; and passing over mountains.
The paths ahead are hidden within caves, so listen and observe. Armed with only a bow and arrow, and a hefty dose of courage, prepare to run and shoot the serpent or dragon around the next turn. Other creatures include bats, spiders, rats, demons, and blobs. Aim your shots carefully, because an errant shot can ricochet off a wall and fly back at you. For additional ammunition, you can pick up quivers of arrows as you progress through the game.
Advanced Dungeons & Dragons is a one-player game but it can be played with a friend. When playing with a friend you can take turns with the same character or play as the same character simultaneously with one player controlling the character's movements while the other fires arrows. When you finally reach the Crown of Kings, prepare to battle a powerful dragon. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
