DESCRIPTION
After being ambushed in the forest, you wake up in an inn in Tilverton. Your arms are marked with strange blue bonds and you don't know how they got there. When the bonds compel you to try and assassinate King Azoun of Cormyr, you must flee and try to find a way to get the bonds removed.
This game is the second in a series that began with Pool of Radiance and spans the Forgotten Realms from Cormyr to Shadowdale and Hillsfar. Players familiar with the Forgotten Realms will be right at home. The interface is easy to learn, and you will be able to figure out where to place spells for maximum effect without frying members of your own party.
The storyline of the players' attempts to remove the dreaded azure bonds leads them into fights with the Cult of Dragons, the dreaded Assassins known as the Fire Knives, and the Cult of Moander, among others.
Along the way, you will find items of magic to help you in your quest and defeat your foes, including the items needed to defeat the unexpected return of an old enemy.
Characters can be imported into this game from the earlier Pool of Radiance, allowing you to further develop their powers and abilities. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
