DESCRIPTION

Adiboo: Discover Mazes, Numbers & Puzzles takes place in the Land of Numbers & Puzzles, where Adiboo and friends act as hosts for a wide variety of learning activities. Among the many topics are comparisons, duplications, patterns, maze solving, memory and pattern recognition, problem solving, strategic thinking, relativity in sizes, sorting, quantifying items, number recognition, ordering and sequencing.

The two-CD set, "Magical Playland" and "Mazes, Numbers & Puzzles," is similar in structure to two other titles in the "Reveal Your Natural Talents" series, Adiboo: Discover Nature, Animals & Planets and Adiboo: Discover Music, Melody & Rhyme. The first CD is included in all three titles and allows the child to create an onscreen portrait, learn about the various characters in the game, join activities and games in Adiboo's playhouse, and listen to stories and bake recipes in the kitchen.

The "Mazes, Numbers & Puzzles" CD contains learning activities and games centered on specific topics. Some examples include building a path from different size planks (patterns), filling tubes of varying sizes with different colors of candies (colors and quantities), watering a cactus by selecting the correct faucet from a maze of hoses (observation, critical thinking), and creating patterns using tangrams (shapes).
