DESCRIPTION

Things are getting quite hectic at the Monster Academy. After months of grueling classes, Ickis, Krumm and Oblina now have to take their midterm exams. Headmaster Gromble will give the trio various assignments in order to prove their monster worthiness. Tasks such as finding pieces of trash, frightening various enemies and scaring the pants off the target victim. After each assignment, the would-be monsters will receive a grade based on their performance. If they pass all the tests, they'll become full-fledged monsters.

AAAHH!!! Real Monsters lets you take control of either Ickis, Krumm or Oblina through 25 levels of monster mayhem, including five bonus rounds. As you progress through each level, the two remaining creatures will tag along behind you. Gameplay involves finding specific objects or defeating enemies with either your scare tactic or by throwing trash—the weapon of choice for budding monsters. Each character can be switched at any time and all have "triple monster moves" that can be used to cross certain paths or dangers. AAAHH!!! Real Monsters for the Genesis is based upon the Nickelodeon cartoon series of the same name, which made its debut in the fall of 1993. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
