DESCRIPTION
7 Wonders of the Ancient World is an action puzzle game that involves quickly swapping two adjacent runes to create matches of three or more. Runes are randomly placed within grids of varying sizes and shapes, with the goal being to remove blocks located behind specific runes. Clearing blocks allows each of the Seven Wonders to be built, with the help of workers toiling away at the bottom of the screen. The more matches you create, the more workers will appear, but you have to maintain a certain pace or they will go on "strike."
Players will visit the following seven locations in their journey: Giza, Alexandria, Olympia, Ephesus, Halicarnassus, Rhodes, and Babylon. Each ancient locale offers seven levels apiece, and the levels are timed for an added challenge. Fail to remove the blocks before time expires, and you'll lose a life as well as a score bonus. In addition to the main game, players can unlock a Free Play option to revisit previously completed levels. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
