Hello, I go by Flyingmoney and I'm one of three GMs of my guild Wrekt. I won't make this too long cuz there's plenty of info on our website...this is just a general idea of what we're looking for. If you like whats said here, please visit our website :bop:

First off, we've been around since early 2007...so about 3 years now.

We don't spend a ton of time raiding but we like to get everthing cleared in the amount of time that we have. We don't exspect to down every last hard mode there is, but we definetly try our best to and always have a great time even if we happen to fail.

We have just enough to fill a 25man raid to clear ToC every week and we've even put in some attempts on heroic 25man. Our 10mans have downed heroic Twins and are working on Anub at the moment.

We're looking to recruit friendly, social players who like raid and clear a bunch of content without spending a huge amount of time doing it. *Must be active and enjoy playing the game

I discovered gamerDNA from a forum sig on WoWi about 2 months ago(?) and got pretty interested. I took the quizes cuz I thought they were frickin awesome and did a little exploring. Anyway I ended up telling my guild mates about it and eventually made a guild site with gamerDNA's guild hosting program...haven't gotton around to the forums yet so I thought I'd say hey :D you know, since it's such a nice site. I've only had one bad encounter here in the whole 2 months...a very angry one :( but that's whatevurr

I'm trying to recreate a feature that looks like it was available for a while on GamerDNA before I joined up; an Activity RSS feed. I'll admit that I'm very new to the API, and with Pipes, the service everyone keeps referring to for RSS mashups.

So far, I've got the Helix Output from the activity search at http://helix.gamerdna.com/game_activ...ikey=sekritkey

It gives an output, and I'm trying to get it into a feed that I can use for my lifestream. I'm using a tumblr microblog as a go-between, but clicking 'Recent Activity' compared to just reading what has happened is no contest.

If someone has already done this, or the feed still exists, please let me know.

BTW, there is a series of prospective quests ongoing from Nov to Dec. And they are about to reach the final stage. Anybody is working on them? The following picture is the screenshot of the prospective quest V. LOL… I love it!



It is said the quests of the new expansion will combine new elements, which require more than just a high BP, but also depends on good teamwork and strategic cooperation. Sound good, doesn’t it? That’s pretty much what I’ve learned so far. It’s supposed to be fun. what do u think? Wait to hear ur comments!

I'm part of a sci-fi RP called the Vast Empire, i'm in their army division....There's much more to it like talking Star Wars, chilling with your "VE friends" on IRC, fake currency, Imperial Benefits,Stocks, a Store, etc...

I'm not posting all this to advertise, I'm just listing a few of the things that make it an enjoyable sci-fi RP for me to be part of and wold liek to know yours.

I personally like the Vast Empire (which I've been part of for almost 3 years) because of the creative aspect f writing stories in a team or alone on missions or fun stories alike.

I've been a member of gamerDNA is sometime in '07...Don't remember the exact month but I've never been able to find the Forums until today so here I am.

Gyromancer is coming out tomorrow on XBL anyone. I never got into the whole Bejewel thing, but Gyro does have some very nice additions. So will anyone else be getting it?

In trying to keep from spoiling anything for those who don't like to be spoiled, before you even start the single-player game of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward asks you a question. It says, and I'm paraphrasing: "One of the levels in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has some material that may be considered very objectionable to some players. Would you like to be asked to skip this level before it starts?" If you choose "No," it says, again I paraphrase: "Are you sure? We ain't gonna ask you again, and it's some fucked up shit." I told myself, after making my choice, that I wish I had chosen the option to be warned, only so I could know which level it was. Needless to say, when the level came, I knew what it was. And it was disturbing.
When I purchased the game, the friendly GameStop Soulsucker, I mean employee, kind of breezed over the fact that I was an adult. There have been times when I've bought M rated games and the employees have asked me if I was buying the game for a child, warning that it might be a little graphic, or violent. That didn't happen this time, but I'd like to think that it did happen at some Gamestop, somewhere.
When I got into the first player action, it was actually very helpful to hear some of my NPC cohorts say things like "Roach, target at your 10 o'clock." And then I would turn to my 10 o'clock and sure enough, there would be an enemy for me to slay. Putting all these elements together, I was certain that, once I got into the multiplayer campaign, there would be a bunch of adult players, with their headsets on, communicating concisely, as the team moved through the maps, and I would hear things like "Watch my six! Cover Me!" or "On your left! Behind you! He went in that door!"

So, of course you can imagine my dismay when I turned on my headset, only to hear a 10-year old white boy (or a 16-year old white girl) saying, and this time I'm NOT paraphrasing "Man, fuck these niggers. You niggers are dumb. I hate niggers."

It's really a shame that in a game that's being touted as a "tactical shooter," a guy can't find 10 or 11 other guys (or girls) to use tactics to make the game as realistic as possible. I don't know what else to say, the more I think about it, the more disgusted I get.
