Winter!: Prepare for holiday gaming!
Last year, tennis on the PlayStation 3 was served up arcade-style with Sega's Virtua Tennis 3. This year, things get a little more serious. 2K Sports looks to be the only player on the court this season with its Top Spin 3. Xbox 360 owners got a taste of simulation tennis last year with Top Spin 2, but for the Sixaxis/DualShock crowd, this is their first bite of real tennis. The fun comes at the price of a steep learning curve, but if you pay your dues, you'll be rewarded with a solid -- and some may say hardcore -- tennis sim. I've played the earlier versions of Top Spin, so I didn't really think it would be too hard to jump right onto the court this time around. I am a professional, after all.
