"I think beta-testing is really fun! I've only been playing in a closed beta twice, and it was in the Angels Online closed beta and Perfect Worls International closed beta. Only more serious players tend to come and play in the closed betas, since there will be a server wipe after before the open betas start. Many people quit playing in the early closed beta, becouse they don't want to create a new character and level him from scratch. Another fun thing with closed betas is the insane events the GM's trow in. Most of the time they end up horribly with frozen servers, mayor lag and stuff like that, but it's still feels statisfying to a part of the devolpment!"
