let me start out by telling some things about myself. I have been playing online games for 15 years now. When I started there were no graphical games. In fact there was no graphical anything. Not even Microsoft. We used DOS operating system. All text. Then cam some cd graphical games that could be played in DOS. When Bill Gates and his buddy started MS it did not take long to start changing things. Windows was so good at that time. If you ever used DOS, you would appreciate why I and other old timers still praise MS.

This August 5th will be my 15 year day since I bought my very first PC. Yuppers, I will celibrate. Buy a pizza, mountain dew and lil debbies cookies. Sit down and be on my puter all day! To bad that I do not have a DOS any more to do some reminising with. But, then I can maybe go back and play Dragon Realms MUD again. I'll have to check into that.

I like to roleplay. PVP is a part of that at times. PVE as well. My choice in racxe is usualy what-ever is the intelegent one for casting. Though my playstyle leans more into being a caster, I also enjoy being able to swing my staff and clobber them when they get in my face between casting my spells. So, my preferred class/profession is battlemage. I prefer to play neutral. I love to explore. Crafting is good only to get good equipement, furnishings for my home and to make ingame money. Hunting is fun with friends and to get as big as possible for PVP.

You can check my personal page to see the games I've payed to play, (Just click on my name). I have also beta tested many more. I see no reason to list those as I did not like them enough to pay to play them.

As these are supposed to be fantasy games. I do not agree to death penalties that stop a character from being able to go and help their friends. I also do not agree with experience or item loss. Just mho.

In any good fantasy, they do not need to haul in the toilet! So why make it manditory for players to eat, drink, or rest?

Hi there and happy 15th.
So what have you learned in 15 years of playing games.....LOL.
I have asked myself that question and even i don't like the answers.
As far as Online games go i never play evil because i don't know how to be evil. If i have the time i can be rather hardcore, 99% Solo anyway, I rather like to see what the Developers gave me to see not Power Level or Bot my way through. I also love crafting the more thing to find and make the better, I liked EQ2 for that untill the change. Vanguard, D@ L, had some nice twists as well. well as far as PvP goes "No thanks". RvR is another matter and one i can do and deal with.
Social is Hi and Goodby on the norm because of the PvP aspect. Playing Oblivion and Gothic 3 at the moment. Wishing Vanguard and D@ L would come out in a Boxed Virsion. Don't get me wrong PvP belongs where PvP belongs, Archlord is it's place and is a great game.

Learned? Was I supposed to learn something? lol Yeah, I've learned a lot about puters and people as well as gaming. On Aug. 5th I will celibrate my 15 years of gaming. I'm seriousely considering reopenning my old Dragon Realms MUD account for that day as well as M59, (if they still are going). Just to play them that day. lol

Chuckles. Realms i have tried but M59 never was over in that neck of the woods.
Mind you there is nothing wrong with that part of the bush but (LOL) besides i am an awesome typist with both fingers (chuckles). 5 minutes to type 3 words and 6 minutes to correct them. I am really thinking of maybe installing Voice recognition but on second though i wonder if the puter would understand wabbitear lingo from the back fourty, dagnabbit i am so waiting on DS. anyway have fun, just though i would come buy and Trade some Tea for some Coffee... Hehe.
